Responsibilities

Must be able to install all types of fences offered by Fence Craft. (Residential and commercial fencing, including wood, vinyl, aluminum, chain-link, and ornamental fences.)
Measure and prepare job sites for fence installation.
Dig post holes, set posts in concrete, and ensure proper alignment and stability.
Read and interpret work orders, site plans, and property lines.
Operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely and efficiently.
Load, unload, and transport fencing materials and equipment to job sites.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
Communicate professionally with customers and answer basic questions during installations.
Inspect completed projects to ensure they meet company quality standards.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Most work is performed within a 50 mile radius but we do some out of town work, too.

Qualifications

Previous fence installation or general construction experience preferred but not required.
Ability to independently lift up to 50 pounds.
Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
Experience using hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment.
Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic measurements accurately.
Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record preferred.
Ability to follow instructions and maintain a safe work environment.
Willingness to learn new skills and take pride in delivering quality workmanship.
Every applicant must undergo pre-employment background check and drug screen. If hired, updates are required annually.
Dependable transportation to and from work.
OSHA certifications are a plus.
